The Kawasaki snowmobiles were always
hot. This one was in prime shape. |
 |
The Merc Trail Twisters like this
one along with the Sno Twisters, were always popular. |
 |
Here is an old El Tigre. What makes
this rare? There just aren't that many of them. If memory serves,
it was a tough time in the industry when cat went to the Suzuki
motor and the 2000, 5000, 6000 series sleds. |
 |
I had never heard of a Yukon King
snowmobile. Here it is. |
 |
An old Polaris TX 400. If memory
serves me, it was a factory racing sled that ran at Winnipeg.
A single cylinder 400? That must shake a little. |
 |
The Snow Pony! - - This sled had
a wheel kit with a single front wheel and intechangable skis.
Pretty cool. - - Behind it was a one of a kind Massey Furgeson
snowmobile. That's gotta be rare. |
 |
Here is an old Ski-Doo in very nice
shape. |
 |
You say you are the packer fan with
everything? I doubt it. Check out these Sno Pack snowmobiles
from the Bart Starr era. Very rare, very cool. |
|
 |
This Gehl twin track had just 414
miles on it. You could ride two across. Not many of these around. |
 |
This old Polaris Mustang had a 488
motor. Surprise. |
 |
This is a pair from memory lane.
We used to have a TX like the one on the left, and a friend had
a Ski-doo free air like the one on the right. |
 |
Check out the grill on this mid
sixties (66?) Polaris Colt 140 |
 |
Here is an 800 TX of the same pedigree
as the 400. Never heard about a TX 800. These sleds were restored
and in great shape. |
 |
The Viking snowmobile. This exhibitor
had two, both just cherry. Someone said that they used to make
them up in Ashland, WI. |
 |
Ahh yes the Raider Twin Tracks.
There were several of these at the show, all in nice shape. These
were pretty cool, and posh inside. |
 |
The little one in front is a Ski
Lark with a 4 stroke Techumseh motor. The whole thing weighs
about 106 pounds. Behind it is a Trail Tamer, another 4 stroker. |
